Privacy Policy
Effective July 6, 2026
Sparta Labs, LLC ("Sparta Labs," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website located at spartalabs.net (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to information collected through the Site and in connection with your purchases. By using the Site, you consent to the practices described here. This Policy is incorporated into and subject to our Terms of Service (/legal/terms-conditions).
The Site is intended only for individuals who are at least twenty-one (21) years old. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly. When you create an account, place an order, contact us, or otherwise interact with the Site, we may collect:
• Identity and contact information (name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping addresses);
• Account credentials (username and a hashed password);
• Order and transaction details (products purchased, order history, amounts);
• Research-affiliation or verification information you provide in connection with eligibility screening;
• Affiliate program information, if you apply to or participate in our affiliate program: your application details (name, email, website or social channel, audience description), your preferred payout method and payout handle (for example a Zelle email, $Cashtag, or crypto wallet address), records of your acceptance of the Affiliate Program Agreement (/legal/affiliate-terms) including the agreement version, a fingerprint of the agreement text, the acceptance timestamp, your IP address, and your browser user agent, and, before any payout, tax documentation such as IRS Form W-9;
• Communications you send us (support requests, messages, feedback).
Payment information. Payments are processed by third-party payment processors. We do not store full card or bank-account numbers on our own servers. The payment processor receives and handles that information under its own privacy and security practices. We may receive limited transaction data such as confirmation status, the last four digits of a card, and billing address.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect technical and usage data, including IP address, browser type, device identifiers, operating system, referring and exit pages, pages viewed, and date/time stamps. We collect this through cookies, log files, and similar technologies (see Section 4).
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
• Process, fulfill, and ship your orders, and provide order confirmations and support;
• Create and manage your account and authenticate your access;
• Verify eligibility and conduct due-diligence screening consistent with our Terms of Service, including screening orders against internal records used to prevent misuse;
• Detect, prevent, and address fraud, security incidents, and prohibited uses;
• Operate, maintain, analyze, and improve the Site and our products and services;
• Communicate with you about your orders, respond to inquiries, and — where permitted — send marketing or promotional messages about Sparta Labs products you have purchased or shown interest in;
• Administer the affiliate program, including reviewing applications, attributing referred orders, calculating and paying commissions, monitoring promotional content for compliance with the Affiliate Program Agreement, and satisfying tax-reporting obligations;
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms and other agreements.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for their own marketing. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:
• Service providers. With vendors who perform services on our behalf — such as payment processing, order fulfillment and shipping, hosting, analytics, fraud prevention, email delivery, and customer support — who are permitted to use the information only to provide those services.
• Legal and safety. When we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with a law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request; to enforce our Terms; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Sparta Labs, our customers, or others.
• Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, in which case information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
• Payouts and tax compliance. If you are an affiliate, with banks and payment services as needed to send your payouts, and with tax authorities as required for reporting (for example, IRS Form 1099-NEC).
• With your direction or consent. When you ask us to share information or otherwise consent to sharing.
4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, maintain your cart, secure the Site, and understand how the Site is used. If you arrive through a referral or affiliate link, we set an attribution cookie that remembers the referring code for up to 30 days so the referrer can be credited if you place an order. Some cookies are necessary for the Site to function; others support analytics and performance. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, but some features of the Site may not work properly without them. Depending on your browser, you may also be able to respond to "Do Not Track" signals; we currently handle such signals as described in this Policy.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy — including providing the Site, completing transactions, and maintaining your account — and thereafter as required to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or misuse (including maintaining screening records), and enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary depending on the type of information and the purpose for which it was collected.
6. Data Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit (such as SSL/TLS) for the transmission of sensitive data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
7. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, which may include the right to:
• Access or request a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
• Correct inaccurate information;
• Request deletion of your information;
• Opt out of marketing communications (you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in our emails or by contacting us);
• Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (note: we do not sell your personal information);
• Be free from discrimination for exercising your rights.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in Section 12. We may need to verify your identity before responding. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. Logged-in users can also review and update certain account information directly through their account settings.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA). California residents have the rights described above, including the rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale/sharing of personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.
Residents of the EEA/UK (GDPR). If you are located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, our legal bases for processing include performance of a contract (to fulfill your orders), our legitimate interests (to operate and secure the Site and prevent misuse), your consent (for certain marketing and cookies), and compliance with legal obligations. You may have additional rights, including data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
8. International Users and Data Transfers
We are based in the United States, and the Site is operated from the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction. By using the Site, you consent to that transfer and processing.
9. Third-Party Links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites. This Policy does not apply to those sites, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party site you visit.
10. Marketing Communications and Consent (Email and SMS)
We may send you communications about your orders and, where you have agreed, marketing messages. You control what marketing you receive.
Transactional messages. We will always be able to send you non-marketing messages necessary to complete a transaction or service your account — for example, order confirmations, shipping notifications, security alerts, and responses to your inquiries. These are not marketing messages and you cannot opt out of them while you have an active order or account.
Email marketing (CAN-SPAM). If you opt in, we may send marketing emails about new products, research updates, and offers. Every marketing email includes a working unsubscribe link and our valid physical postal address, and we will honor opt-out requests promptly as required by the CAN-SPAM Act. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email or by contacting us at the address in Section 12. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop transactional messages.
SMS/text marketing (TCPA). If you provide your mobile number and affirmatively opt in — for example, by checking the SMS consent box at checkout — you give your prior express written consent to receive recurring automated marketing text messages from Sparta Labs at the number you provide, including messages sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or prerecorded technology where applicable. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, and you can reply HELP for assistance. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We will not share your mobile information with third parties for their own marketing purposes; we share it only with service providers that help us deliver our messaging program. Additional terms are described in our SMS Terms (/legal/sms-terms).
We honor opt-out requests and do not contact individuals on applicable do-not-call or suppression lists for marketing in violation of law. To revoke consent or manage your preferences, use the opt-out methods above or contact us at the address in Section 12.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date above and post the updated Policy on the Site. Material changes may be communicated through additional notice where appropriate. Your continued use of the Site after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
